Marta Dillon

Marta Dillon, is an Argentinian journalist and one of the founders of the Ni Una Menos movement.  Activism has always been a part of her life.  Her mother was an activist, lawyer, and teacher.  Her mother was murdered by the Videla dictatorship which was framed as a disappearance.  She was born July 29, 1966, making her currently fifty five years old.  She is a journalist and a feminist activist.  She started her journalism career at twenty years old.  Marta Dillon is an Argentinian woman who has written many books.  She is also a strong advocate for LGBT+ rights.  Marta Dillon is a lesbian who was unable to get married to her partner because of laws againts homosexual marriage at the time.  After the Equal Marriage Law passed July 15, 2010, she was able to marry her partner. Dillon has also produced four documentaries called La Bella Tarea about women’s rights in childbirth.

Norma Andrade

Norma Andrade co-founded the Nuestras Hijas de Regreso a Casa (“May Our Daughters Return Home”) movement.  She helped found this movement after her own daughter was murdered in 2001.  The goal of the organization is to return the bodies of femicide victims to their families and to bring their murderers to justice.
