What Is This Gallery About?

This project focuses on femicide in Latin America.  Femicide is the killing of women and girl, typically by men.  This issue is prevalent in many parts of Latin America.  This topic first came to my attention when I went to visit the Latino Cultural Center on Purdue campus.  Like myself, I feel as though many do not know about this issue in Latin America. I hope that this exhibit shows many this issue in Latin America.

About Me

My name is Alyssa Perez and I am a freshman at Purdue.  Right now I am in Exploratory Studies but am leaning towards majoring in Political Science.
